Ephesus

Ephesus

Ephesus is the best preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean.  The site and the ruins are highly admired by many visitors to this ancient place.  You can easily imagine yourself in Roman times amongst the ruins that still exist.  Ephesus witnessed the rise of Christianity with the foundation of the church where Virgin Mary spent her last days with St. John.  Ephesus is the historical highlight of any visit to Turkey.
